Organizational History and Experience
PCT Security, established in 2009, began as a low voltage integrator of voice and data cabling and connectivity products, building access control and security systems. From those early beginnings, PCT has grown to a full multi-system provider having partnered with and provided installation services for a long list of organizations (see clients).
In 2013, PCT Security merged their business interests with LakePointe Communications, who was a well established primary service provider in the Detroit market for several national account management firms. Focused primarily on national brand names and big box retailers, LakePointe Communications quickly developed the reputation as a responsive and attentive service/installation team working with several regional locations of entities such as The Internal Revenue Service, HCR Manorcare, and AeroTek in the greater south-east Michigan area.
We takes pride in our highly skilled and certified IT professionals and the existing partnerships formed with industry leading brands such as AMAG, Avigilon, Pelco, Exacq, Honeywell, Identicard, Siemon and Hubbell. PCT Security maintains these relationships by ensuring our team possesses the most current certifications as well as providing opportunities for additional training. Further, the committed focus on customer service and comprehensive project management sets PCT Security apart from local competition. Our unique and qualified project support team gives us the ability to provide quality services for design/build projects from engineering to system installation. Our project management team works diligently to determine the most cost effective and efficient installation plan to ensure our projects are on-budget and on-time.
Previous projects have included the installation of both twisted pair copper and fiber optic horizontal and backbone cabling products for voice and data applications, the extension of any number of circuits over both mediums, the installation and programming of various building access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance systems. We’ve installed point of sale equipment in any number of retail applications, have assisted customers with simple add/move and change requests as well as having orchestrated multi-user/ multi-floor reconfigurations.
We adhere to the latest EIA/TIA industry standards where installation practices are concerned and employ certified and up to date industry recognized field test equipment. Our vendor based partnerships allow us to extend system wide manufacturer backed warranties regardless of system discipline.
